We aim to keep wealth in local communities, protect our heritage, and foster eco-friendly short food supply chains.

Any independent business registered and operating in one of Northern Ireland's six counties is welcome to submit a listing. The business must be locally owned, managed, and not operate as a national or international franchise. We verify all submissions manually.

Yes! Our basic directory listing is completely free to ensure that all local micro-businesses, farm producers, and independent makers can be discovered by residents and tourists. We offer optional premium sponsorship plans for featured homepage placements to help cover our hosting costs.

To keep our directory authentic, a business must meet the following: (1) be privately owned, with majority ownership held by residents of Northern Ireland, (2) make business decisions independently, and (3) pay rent, local business rates, and wages directly into our local economy.

Our community editorial team reviews all submissions to verify independent ownership. This process typically takes between 2 to 3 business days, after which your listing will appear live in the directory, and we will send you a verification confirmation email.

If you need to change your address, opening hours, social media links, description, or images on an existing listing, simply fill out the contact form on our Contact Us page with your verification details, and our listings team will update it for you free of charge.
